A short guide to LEO contests
Have you noticed LEO contests come and go, but aren’t sure how to enter? No need to panic. We put together a small guide to help you step by step.
Here is how to bet your chances and increase your odds of winning.
1. How to accumulate chances to enter LEO contests
To enter LEO contests, you need to be a member in good standing and have a LEO account.
Every time that you answer a survey or the question of the day, you get chances.
The chances you accumulate can then be used to bet on the contests of your choice.
Here are a few ways to get chances:
- Complete LEO surveys
- Answer the question of the day
- Win badges
- Invite friends to join LEO
The more active you are on LEO, the more chances you get to win!
2. How can you bet your chances on LEO contests?
To enter LEO contests, login to your account using the mobile app or website and bet your chances.
The chances you’ve accumulated can be used once or multiple times. You can also place them on a single contest or spread them across several.
To bet one or more chances on a contest :
- Go to LEO’s contest section
- Click on the (+) symbol, then on “ participate ”
You can change your bets whenever you like, as long as the contest is still open.
- If you want to remove chances from your bet, click the (-) symbol, then “participate ”
The more chances you bet, the greater your odds of winning. It’s as simple as that!
3. Who can join LEO contests ?
To be eligible for LEO contests, you must :
- Be an active LEO member.
- Be a Canadian resident at the time of the draw
- Reach the age of majority in your province or territory.
- Completed your member profile.
The odds of winning a contest depend on the number of participants who bet their chances on it.
4. How are winners contacted ?
Winners will be notified by email, through the following address: info@legeropinion.com.
In this message, you’ll find instructions on confirming your identity and the steps to follow to claim your prize.
Winners have 30 days to respond.
5. Prizes to win
Each month has a new lot of prizes to win. Weekly contests give you the chance to win a variety of prizes, while monthly contests let you bet on bigger rewards.
Each contest clearly indicates which prize(s) are available to win. The odds of winning each prize depend on the number of members who place chances on the contest.

Hello Colleen, winners are picked via LEO’s panel management system, in accordance with the conditions of participation set out in the rules of every contests.
