Concerns About COVID-19 – April 7, 2020 Report

Did you know that 44% of Canadians and 41% of Americans have experienced a decrease in their income due to the COVID-19 crisis?

This is one of the findings of Leger’s latest survey, conducted April 3-5, 2020 among 1,512 Canadians and 1,000 Americans, randomly recruited from LEO’s online panel.

Each week, Leger will publish a survey conducted in partnership with the Association for Canadian Studies (ACS) and published in The Canadian Press to help governments, businesses and citizens better understand the attitudes and behaviours of Canadians in the face of the current health and economic crisis. This series of surveys will be available on Leger’s website. Now, in addition to data on how Canadians’ behaviours are changing with respect to COVID-19, you’ll have access to a comparison between Canadians and Americans.
