- 68% of Canadians and 59% of Americans say they would NOT take a free dose of the recently released COVID-19 vaccine produced by Russia, if given the opportunity.
- 45% of Canadians and 47% of Americans think COVID-19 safety measures will remain after a vaccine or a cure becomes widely available.

CANADIAN FEDERAL POLITICS- If the federal Liberal government loses a non-confidence vote in September, 38% of Canadians are for having a general election this fall, 42% are against, and 19% are unsure.
- According to Canadians, among the federal party leaders, Jagmeet Singh best represents honesty and integrity, while Justin Trudeau best represents being charismatic, a good communicator, caring and compassionate, decisive, and intelligent.
- 28% of Canadians and 30% of Americans who are currently working think their company/organization will have layoffs before the end of the year.
- 32% of Canadians and 28% of Americans say their family is worse off financially in 2020 than it was in 2019.
These are some of the findings of Leger’s latest survey, conducted from August 21-23, 2020, with 1,516 Canadians and 1,003 Americans, 18 years of age or older, randomly recruited from LEO’s online panel.
