In fact, according to a study conducted by Jeannette Haviland-Jones, Ph.D., a Psychology Professor at Rutgers University, \u201cflowers have a long-term positive effect on moods. Specifically, study participants reported feeling less depressed, anxious and agitated after receiving flowers, and demonstrated a higher sense of enjoyment and life satisfaction.\u201d1<\/sup><\/p>\n Step 1: Follow LEO on Instagram<\/a><\/p>\n Step 2: Comment on the contest post<\/a>! Let us know what your favourite flowers are, and where you\u2019d put them in your home if you win (or who you would send them to)!<\/p>\n To be eligible, you must be a resident of Canada, and an active member of the LEO panel. You must also comply with the Terms and Conditions<\/a>.<\/p>\n The contest runs from May 1-31, 2020, and the lucky winners will be selected (using a random draw) on June 1, 2020, at 1:00 pm EDT. The winners may choose whether they want to receive the flowers personally, or if they want to send them to someone else.
