class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Federal Budget<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Canadians think the April 19 federal budget <strong>should focus on tax reductions for average Canadians<\/strong> (35%) rather than increased spending on pandemic programs (25%),&nbsp;spending reductions to reduce the deficit (17%), or tax relief for small businesses (12%).<\/li><li>68% of Canadians agree that the federal budget should lay out a plan to <strong>shift Canada\u2019s economy away from fossil fuels toward renewable and alternative energy production<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" <strong>are worried about the size of the current federal deficit<\/strong> in their respective countries.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Only 14% of Canadians would prefer to <strong>have a federal election this spring<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" with&nbsp;<strong>1,504 Canadians&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>1,002 Americans<\/strong>, 18 years of age or older, randomly recruited from LEO\u2019s online panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
