href=\"https:\/\/leger360.com\/surveys\/legers-north-american-tracker\/\"><em>This series of surveys is available on Leger\u2019s website.<\/em><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-9734f0fb-8901-43dd-9a01-c2f02399e64c\">AMERICAN POLITICS: THE MIDTERM ELECTIONS AND VOTING INTENTIONS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>41% of Americans are <strong>satisfied<\/strong> with the results of the November 8 midterm elections.<\/li><li>57% of Americans believe the midterm elections were <strong>fair and democratic<\/strong>, 19% think there was <strong>fraud and corruption<\/strong> and 24% don\u2019t know\/refuse to answer.<ul><li>34% of <strong>Republican<\/strong> voters* say the elections were fair and democratic, 40% say there was fraud and corruption and 26% don\u2019t know\/refuse to answer.<\/li><li>90% of <strong>Democratic<\/strong> voters** say the elections were fair and democratic, 2% say there was fraud and corruption, and 8% don\u2019t know\/refuse to answer.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>American Republican voters* are <strong>split<\/strong> on who they would prefer to be the <strong>Republican candidate<\/strong> for 2024: 43% say Trump, 45% say DeSantis, 13% did not specify. &nbsp;<\/li><li>44% of Canadians <strong>followed<\/strong> the American midterm elections.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">*Those who plan to vote Republican in the 2024 presidential election<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">**Those who plan to vote Democrat in the 2024 presidential Canada\u2019s immigration plan will admit <strong>too many immigrants<\/strong> to Canada.<\/li><li>75% of Canadians are concerned the immigration plan will result <strong>in excessive demand<\/strong> for housing and health and social services.<\/li><li>77% of Canadians agree the <strong>carbon tax<\/strong> on gasoline, diesel and home heating fuels should be <strong>frozen<\/strong> until high inflation passes.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-daf4d710-79a6-4472-89e4-fb5890c74505\">METHODOLOGY<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-d10bec84-091b-40ee-9af3-a4f8fb88eb3e\">This web survey was conducted from November 11-13, 2022, with 1,537 Canadians and 1,007 Americans, 18 years of age or older, randomly recruited from LEO\u2019s online panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>To view the
