{"id":6200,"date":"2023-03-16T13:01:47","date_gmt":"2023-03-16T17:01:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.legeropinion.com\/?p=6200"},"modified":"2023-03-16T13:01:49","modified_gmt":"2023-03-16T17:01:49","slug":"north-american-tracker-march-16-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.legeropinion.com\/en\/surveys\/north-american-tracker-march-16-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"North American Tracker (March 16, 2023): Electoral System and Possible Foreign Interference\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DISCOVER OUR MOST RECENT RESULTS BELOW!&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>This survey is conducted in collaboration with the Association for Canadian Studies (ACS) and published in the Canadian Press. <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/leger360.com\/surveys\/legers-north-american-tracker\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>This series of surveys is available on Leger\u2019s website.<\/em><\/a><em><\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-electoral-system-and-possible-foreign-interference\">ELECTORAL SYSTEM AND POSSIBLE FOREIGN INTERFERENCE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>71% of Canadians and 63% of Americans believe their respective electoral system is safe.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>72% of Canadians are in favour of an independent public inquiry into foreign intervention in the 2019 and 2021 federal elections.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>69% of Canadians and 57% of Americans generally trust election results in their corresponding countries.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>49% of Canadians feel the impact of the interference does not question the actual outcome of these elections. In comparison, 33% of Canadians feel the potential intervention is significant enough to question the legitimacy of the results.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/leger360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/20230315-Tracker-Highlight-2-Electoral-system-and-possible-foreign-interference-EN-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Canadians and Americans opinion on the electoral system\" class=\"wp-image-40691\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-coronation-of-king-charles-iii\">CORONATION OF KING CHARLES III<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>47% of Canadians and 37% of Americans said they were aware that the Coronation of King Charles III is on May 6, 2023.
