LEO USA | How will you be celebrating the 4th of July this year?

That’s the Question of the Day we asked the LEO USA community on June 25th.

2690 members from the LEO community responded with their plans for Independence Day.

If you answered barbecue or picnic, you’re in good company, it’s the top choice among the LEO community in the United States of America (US).

Here’s the most popular answers:

  • 32% said they’ll be having a barbecue or picnic with family or friends
  • 28% plan to watch the fireworks
  • 6% will attend a parade or community event
  • 5% are hosting or attending a party, and
  • 29% will not celebrate.

In other words, it’s all about food, fireworks, and family this 4th of July!

So, who’s doing what?

  • Barbecues are at the top the list for both men and women, with slightly more men (33%) choosing this option than women (32%).
  • Women seem more likely than men to watch fireworks (30% vs 23%).
  • Non-participation is highest among men, with more than 1 in 3 saying they won’t celebrate at all, compared to 1 in 4 women.

This isn’t a scientific poll. It’s based on voluntary responses from the LEO community, but it offers a fun snapshot of what people are planning across the country.

And you, how will you be celebrating the 4th of July this year?
