What is LEO’s mission?

LEO is Leger’s panel, one of the fastest-growing market research in North America.

Founded in 2004, LEO now has over 500,000 members and is know for its quality, precision, and accuracy of its results.

LEO was created to give citizens a voice. Its mission is simple : allowing its members to be heard on issues that concern them, and make these opinions heard in public discourse.

Is LEO available elsewhere other than Canada?

Yes. Even though the majority of our members are in Canada, LEO is also available in the United States of America.

Please note that you will not be able to access your LEO account if you leave Canada.

Who can become a LEO member?

Residents of Canada or the United States aged 16 and over can register with LEO.

All you need is a valid email address and to complete your member profile to start receiving surveys.

The minimum age is required, but no maximum age is enforced.

What are my survey answers used for?

By answering surveys, LEO community members in Canada and the United States contribute to discussions on a wide range of issues.

Every answer helps better understand our society, reflect the diversity of points of view, and make decisions, if needed, on the issue at hand.

Your answers are anonymously grouped and analyzed to produce statistics, reports, opinion studies, or news recaps. They allow us to understand what citizens think.

LEO respects strict confidentiality norms. Your answers are anonymous, and your personal data is protected.

Who makes these surveys ?

Surveys come mainly from businesses, governments and public organizations that want to understand citizens’ opinions.

LEO also conducts its own studies to better understand its community.

Why do I receive less surveys than others?

Each survey targets specific people. If you do not receive many invitations to answer surveys, it may be because no current study fits your profile.

Please ensure that you have completed your profile. By adding additional details, we can give you surveys that fit you best.

Be on the lookout for available surveys. Since they change often, it is recommended to look regularly.

How do LEO rewards work?

LEO rewards are offered in exchange for points that you accumulate on the platform.

Every time you answer a survey, or claim badges, you receive points.

Here is how to claim your rewards :

  1. Log into your LEO account.
  2. Click on the ” Rewards ” tab, and choose which reward you want from those that are offered.
  3. Make sure you have the amount of points required to claim the reward of your choice, and click  ”Claim”
  4. Ensure that you have read the reward’s conditions and characteristics and that your information is correct to receive the reward. If that is not the case, clik the  ”Edit your information ” button.
  5. Complete the two-step verification. In order to verify your identity, a confirmation code will be sent to you by text (SMS), or by automated voice message by LEO.
  6. Click on the  ”Confirm and claim” button.

LEO offers fixed-value rewards so its members can claim them frequently and do not accumulate a large balance of points in their account.

As mentioned in our terms of use, LEO is not a financial institution and points are not cash deposits. Therefore, it is essential to make redemptions each time that the amount of required points has been met.

What are LEO badges?

LEO badges are another way to accumulate points or chances to place on different contests.

You can get badges by doing certain actions on the platform, like answering a certain amount of surveys or inviting someone to join the community.

Each badge has up to six levels. After each level, you can gain points and/or chances, and unlock the next level, if applicable.

A badge can give you :

  • Earn points you can exchange for rewards
  • Get extra chances to enter contests*

You can check your badges at all times in the ”Your badges” tab, or directly from the homepage.

Why did you create a mobile app?
